He was also a finalist and the last man standing on top-rated US show ‘Dancing With The Stars’ in 2014.
Of the debut solo release Maslow says “The album has been years in the making. It’s inspired by stories of love, life, sex and temptation in my own life. It’s the most personal piece of art I have ever created. With my old band there were a lot of cooks in the kitchen, so things never turned out exactly as I wanted them…but this time, everything is ‘How I Like It’.”
As part of Big Time Rush, Maslow has won countless Kids Choice Awards and headlined sold-out tours across the globe, most recently the Big Time Rush Live World Tour in 2014, performing at some of the largest venues across North & South America.
Born in New York and raised in San Diego, Maslow began performing at an early age, training at the prestigious La Jolla Playhouse and San Diego School of Performing Arts. Most recently, he landed a role as Dr. John Watson opposite David Arquette in the international tour of the stage adaptation of Sherlock Holmes and can currently be seen as protagonist ‘Wyatt’ in the Benny Boom directed feature film ’48 Hours To Live’, which is out now.
