After being inspired by an encounter whilst on tour earlier this year, the video documents day-in-the-life struggles of a homeless man – a reflection of the song’s lyrical themes.
The brand new visual arrives off the back a highly successful UK tour supporting Canadian pop rock band Marianas Trench, which saw the band perform in their biggest venues to date, including an ecstatically-received crowning set in the capital at London’s Koko.
Club Drive’s previous single ‘Spare Time’ was added to the BBC Radio 1 playlist as the station’s Introducing track in March. This saw the song receive daytime spins from Radio 1’s biggest DJs including Alice Levine, Dev, Clara Amfo, Greg James, Scott Mills and Adele Roberts – giving the single huge audience exposure and an exciting platform to build from.
‘Spare Time’ followed the 2016 release of their debut EP Dangerous and sees the band stand shoulder to shoulder with the songwriting prowess of pop rock artists such as One Republic, Maroon 5 and DNCE.
This summer shows no signs of slowing down, with the band making a number of festival appearances, including The Great Escape, Lovebox and a main stage slot at this year’s Standon Calling alongside Grace Jones, Orbital, Clean Bandit, Editors, Gary Numan, Laura Mvula, Slaves and many more.
