The message follows her appearance on Saturday night at the Grammys® MusiCares Tribute Concert honouring Lionel Richie, in Los Angeles, where she performed with Pharrell Williams, The Roots and Leon Bridges. The evening also included performances by Stevie Wonder, Rihanna, Dave Grohl, Florence Welch and more.

Corinne Bailey Rae first shot to enormous global fame and acclaim when her self-titled debut album featuring hit singles such as ‘Put Your Records On’ and ‘Like A Star’ entered the UK charts at Number One and reached Number Four on the US charts.

It went on to sell five million copies around the globe followed by a huge world tour, gaining her a large and devoted fanbase, alongside a host of awards and international magazine front covers.

Her second album The Sea – an album of unique and rare beauty, full of pathos and love – saw her garlanded with praise and become Mercury Music Prize-nominated. It was a Top 5 hit in the UK and Top 10 in the US.

Her final release, the covers EP Is This Love, won her a second Grammy Award.

Corinne returned in 2015 as one of the judges on the Mercury Music Prize panel and now with her message to fans we get the first glimpse of the music she has been working on for the past few years.

Full details of Corinne Bailey Rae’s new album will be revealed later this month.
