The three-piece band, based in LA but originally hailing from Provo in Utah, constantly explore the outer reaches of their personal comfort zones creating a deeply emotional and dramatic blend of music that swings between the melodic and the chaotic, leaving listeners uplifted and enthralled.

Now with the release of their six-track EP, entitled simply ‘&’ and distributed by Sony/RED, The Moth & The Flame take the first steps outside of American cult status and showcase their talents on a wider stage. The lead track ‘Sorry’ demonstrates their unique melodies at their best, its chopping guitars, atmospheric edges and dream-bound vocals setting the scene with the recurrent themes of desire and betrayal, sadness and loss.

As Nylon magazine declare: “if lead single "Sorry" is any indication, [‘&’} is a layered, complex collection of rock songs that probably has Chris Martin wishing he came up with them himself.”

With a European tour supporting Imagine Dragons already underway, and November shows to be announced next week in the UK, The Moth & The Flame are all set to unveil their new album. Prepare for one of the most exciting prospects for 2014.

‘&’ by The Moth & The Flame is released on November 4th on Hidden Records and Sony/RED via iTunes
