“His debut album shows precisely what the fuss is about”Q

"Kelvin Jones arrives almost fully formed. A confident, individual voice...the plucked acoustic guitar line is matched to those honeyed tones, each lyric tumbling forth in an emotional plea." – Clash

The musician from Stevenage has just started a series of Living Room shows which run through Austria, Germany, Switzerland and England, alongside New Zealand duo Joseph & Maia. Fans play host to an intimate gig in their own living rooms, with a limited amount of tickets available to other super-fans in the area.

In more conventional live appearances Kelvin was a highlight of the recent Cornbury Festival and will be one of the must-see performers at Festival No 6 in September. He then heads back to mainland Europe for a string of headline shows, ending on October 20th at home in London at the Camden Assembly (formerly The Barfly).

Meanwhile his new single ‘Closer’ is being championed on BBC Radio 2 ahead of its release from both Fearne Cotton and Ken Bruce. This continues the station’s support for him after previous single ‘Call You Home’ made it on to the B List.

Echoing the strong support at radio the latest edition of Notion Magazine sees an insightful four-page feature on Kelvin, detailing his rise to international fame, along with a beautiful shoot.

Earlier this year Kelvin performed at the Letters Live literary event at the Freemason’s Hall in London, in association with the Hay Festival, where remarkable letters were read by a diverse array of performers including Bennedict Cumberbatch, Caitlin Moran, Gillian Anderson, Ian McKellen, Jarvis Cocker, Jude Law, Matt Berry and many more. You can watch the highlights showreel HERE, which includes several appearances from Kelvin.
