Rixton will be releasing ‘Me And My Broken Heart’ in the UK this summer and to coincide they’ll be playing a string of festivals in June starting with North East Live, East Coast Live and South West Live Festivals, where they’ll be sharing the bill with Jessie J, Rizzle Kicks, Katy B, Jason Derulo, The Saturdays and The Vamps.

They follow that with performances in Birmingham and London at Wireless Festival (5th & 6th July) alongside Bruno Mars, Outkast, Ellie Goulding and John Newman. And in a double London hit they also play Hyde Park British Summer Time on July 6th supporting pop supergroup McBusted.

With sold out headline shows, a string of festival appearances, a stack of future pop hits and a nice line in banter, Rixton are the guitar-pop band that it’s OK to like; a grown-up, witty bunch of musicians and songwriters unafraid to blast out the funkiest, sexiest pop songs and ready to strap themselves onto the rock’n’roll rollercoaster.

“Rixton are about to take off… and tipped for huge things in 2014”

The Sun

“New band Rixton are poised to take the world by storm”

“Soulful pop with personality, destined for greatness…

Rixton’s debut single is gonna be huge ”

Daily Star

Their single ‘Me & My Broken Heart’ is accompanied by an epic, six-minute video in which the band star as unwitting stooges in a sting-gone-wrong full of motorbikes, girls, cops, poker and double-crosses.

Rixton’s debut album, co-written and produced by Benny Blanco, hitmaker extraordinaire, will be out in the autumn.
