Their EP ‘&’ has been released to huge acclaim and now lead single ‘Sorry’ has just been added to the XFM Evening List in the UK and was a Zane Lowe ‘Next Hype’ last week.

In the US ‘Sorry’ is picking up spins around the country including the likes of influential station KROQ in Los Angeles and is rapidly climbing the CMJ Top 200. The video has been added into the New Music Rotation on TV channel MCU, reaching 50 million music fans across America. So it’s no surprise that the band have just been announced as no.6 on Billboard’s Next Big Sound Chart.

The Moth & The Flame will be returning to the UK in the spring when they will release another track from ‘&’ as a single.

You can watch the video for ‘Sorry’ here:

As brilliant as Flaming Lips, by which we mean it has the brightness, the sheer surface dazzle, of the Lips' best music… with moments of transcendence and transplendence… it is lush, layered, often complexindie that references the last decade's big boys of alternative rock”The Guardian

“There’s a rock edge, a visceral rawness which reflects LA’s unique pressure cooker atmosphere… Underneath a desperate, pleading vocal The Moth & The Flame have a Krautrock sensibility, a bass-heavy physicality which adds to the bitter-sweet lyrics” -Clash

The EP, ‘&’, is available now on iTunes from Hidden Records via Sony/RED
