as1one

Music is the connective language that travels the globe, transcending conflict and bridging generations. Pop music dominates in every country, every culture.

And, within the pop genre, male groups are among the most successful and celebrated, transcending borders and cultures, with the astounding explosions of BTS, One Direction, Backstreet Boys, *NSync, Jonas Brothers, Westlife, Take That and New Kids On The Block over many years.

In 2022, a new global group was formed: as1one. However, this is no typical male pop group…

as1one is the first mixed Israeli Jewish & Palestinian Arab pop group.

In an extensive, two-year A&R search and audition process, veteran industry hitmakers/music producers James Diener and Ken Levitan (who respectively signed and developed Maroon 5 and Kings Of Leon) set out to find the most talented Israeli and Palestinian singers and musicians throughout Israel.

as1one consists of six new and vibrant personalities, Aseel Farah (22), Nadav Philips (23), Neta Rozenblat (22), Niv Lin (23), Ohad Attia (22), and Sadik Abu Dogosh (21).

This is a first opportunity for a cutting-edge male pop group from the Middle East region to be launched and boldly compete on the world stage.

The band devoted over a year of hard work and rehearsals before relocating to Los Angeles, where they were set to begin recording their first album. Their flight arrived at LAX airport on October 6th, 2023 – incredibly just one day before the outbreak of the Israel-Hamas war.

Working on their debut album, the band has been in the studio writing and recording with some of the music industry’s most sought after hitmakers, including producer heavyweights Jenna Andrews and Stephen Kirk (BTS’ ‘Butter’ and ‘Permission To Dance’), Oak Felder (Demi Lovato, John Legend), Jason Evigan (Maroon 5, Justin Bieber), Tommy Brown (Ariana Grande, The Weeknd), Lil’ Aaron (Icona Pop, Marshmello), Danja (Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears) and Justin Tranter (Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez and Imagine Dragons).

Due on Sept 13th, the band’s infectious debut single and music video, ‘All Eyes On Us’, features multi-platinum producer/writer/guitarist, Nile Rodgers.

All vocal abilities aside, each member brings an important, diverse talent that makes up as1one’s musical DNA. Nadav (hometown: Holon), who started singing around the time he could talk, is a trained vocalist and pianist. The group’s rapper, Aseel (hometown: Haifa), discovered a love for music through writing poetry and previously led his own rap duo. Neta (hometown: Tel Aviv) is a natural when it comes to music, having only discovered his passion for it in the past few years; he has recently become a wiz at the guitar and is constantly working on his craft as a musician and songwriter. Basketball athlete and sports lover, Niv (hometown: Sapir) plays expressive piano and guitar. Ohad (hometown: Tel Aviv) is a versatile multi-instrumentalist, who excels at guitar, drums, bass and produces/engineers music. Sadik (hometown: Rahat) was trained in musical theater and discovered his love for music through acting and theatrical productions.

Also, as1one have been filmed since from their inception and development for a limited docuseries, streaming worldwide on Paramount+ later this autumn.

It’s a coming-of-age story, featuring six young men who band together with the opportunity to become a celebrated inspiration of collaboration, friendship and acceptance, through trailblazing pop hits.

Cameras followed as1one’s personal struggles and artistic journey – with families, friends and exotic locals - in cities, towns and countrysides in both the Jewish and Arab communities - as the band work together to bring their music and message of unity to the world.

Prior to releasing any music or playing live, as1one is already developing a significant fan base, with the band and its members having amassed more than 400,000 followers across TikTok and Instagram. Based on their backstory, as1one were spotlighted on the digital cover of Billboard Magazine in an extensive six-page feature in November 2023.

There are those that suggest that a pop group like as1one cannot exist. A group that cannot work together and succeed making great music. And yet, they do exist and will help broaden minds and the world around them. While deep seeded division has affected their communities for generations, as1one haven’t let anything obstruct the brotherhood they have built. Through the collective power of pop music, the group is overcoming barriers, perhaps for the first time, and will potentially inspire new generations to do the same, a sentiment more important now than ever before.

The time is now for as1one.
