Gabrielle Aplin releases new single 'My Mistake' with gorgeous video

Gabrielle Aplin has released her brand new single ‘My Mistake’, the first song to be taken from her forthcoming third album due for release next year. The new single premiered with Billboard who said, “‘Gabrielle Aplin lets her guard down on ‘My Mistake’… [it] is an emotional piano ballad that provides an open reflection on embracing your flaws.”

‘My Mistake’ finds Gabrielle baring her soul with a powerful and emotionally gripping performance – one that is sure to resonate with her ardent fanbase. The gorgeous video captures Gabrielle completing a beautiful ballet routine in a stunning apartment.

Having just signed a major global deal with AWAL, the release is the first through the new partnership between AWAL and Gabrielle’s own successful label Never Fade Records.

Regarding the single Gabrielle says, “I’m really excited to release 'My Mistake'. I’ve always found writing a therapeutic escape from real life, but this song gently forced me to be brutally honest. This is a song about finding a strange sense of comfort in admitting to yourself that you’re not feeling 100% and completely owning it.”

Gabrielle Aplin will be performing live at the annual celebration of her label Never Fade Records at Union Chapel next month (Dec 4th). Never Fade artists and friends will join her including Hannah Grace, Lauren Aquilina, Lewis Watson, Orla Gartland, Sonny and more as they perform together in a very special show kicking off the festive season. Tickets are available through Alt Tickets.

Gabrielle Aplin will be releasing a brand new album via her new deal with AWAL, while continuing to develop incredible music talent on Never Fade Records.

Speaking about working with AWAL she says, “AWAL was the first company that I started working with when we launched Never Fade Records in 2010 to release my first EPs, and I’m really excited to be working with them again on my third album! It’s an exciting time to be an independent artist, and I know that this partnership with AWAL will bring a huge boost to the label and the acts we work with as well as myself and my own projects.”
