‘Left Alive’ is a frenzied rock track from the wolf collective and features high-octane rapping and vinyl scratching among some of their heaviest riffs yet.
The LEFT ALIVE game production team instigated the collaboration with MAN WITH A MISSION when they noticed the game’s ‘Woluk’ Vanza mobile weapon also translates as ‘wolf’ in Russian. The ‘Left Alive’ single artwork has been made in the game style by LEFT ALIVE’s head character designer Yoji Shinkawa from Kojima Productions (METAL GEAR SOLID series).
Speaking about the song MAN WITH A MISSION frontman Jean-Ken Johnny says, “Before producing the song, they told us the concept of the game and we thought that the story was awesome. We’re beyond happy that our music will be part of it. I was completely addicted to the game’s worldview and I thought that the title was something else. The world changes with one’s own choice. I put the will in this music like the game.”
MAN WITH A MISSION are one of the biggest Japanese rock bands and are a huge draw across Asia. They released their first international album (their fifth in Japan) Chasing the Horizon last year to huge acclaim, which has set them well on their way to global domination as one of the most exciting and intriguing new rock phenomenon.
MAN WITH A MISSION feature on the cover of the latest issue of Rock Sound Magazine and have been receiving Radio 1 support. Following their numerous sell out stadium tours in their home country, they have also completed headline tours of the UK, Europe and US.
The band were met by a rapturous response from fans when they played Reading & Leeds Festival last year for the first time to an overflowing tent. MAN WITH A MISSION return to the UK festival scene this summer and will play Download Festival on June 14th.
