The Blinders release 'Hate To See You Tortured' video

The video finds frontman and guitarist Thomas Hayward battling his inner demons, trapped in a cell amongst strobes reflecting anger and frustration. ‘Hate To See You Tortured’ is a high energy love song with searing guitars, organ synths, soaring harmonies and a pounding rhythm. It has led Steve Lamacq at BBC 6Music to say, “They are really reaching out through their sound, this is another level again.”

‘Hate To See You Tortured’ is taken from The Blinders’ new EP Electric Kool-Aid (Part 1), a five-track collection of dark brilliance, fiery yet emotive, its psychedelic-infused indie-rock playing like a cross between IDLES, Psychedelic Porn Crumpets and Arctic Monkeys.

It features the previous single ‘City We Call Love’, which proved a hit with 6Music gaining support from Steve Lamacq and Chris Hawkins, while also receiving strong support from Jack Saunders and Clara Amfo at Radio 1.
