We Three

We Three release new single 'Dancing In The Dark'

We Three have released their brand new single ‘Dancing In The Dark’, a flirty funky track drenched in seductive soul which writhes with a suave rhythm bolstered by bright keys, trumpet and sax.

The song is the first taste of new music from the Oregon alt-pop trio following the release of their fourth album Love Me which was released earlier this summer. The band are currently touring the highly praised record across the UK and Ireland.

With Love Me the Humlie sibling trio – Manny (vocals, guitar), Bethany (bass) and Joshua (drums) – delivered their richest, rawest and hardest-hitting work yet, an album packed with big-hearted songs and powerful messages.

Lead single ‘In Therapy’ harnessed a sense of desperation into a tender expression of romantic insecurity with a gripping acoustic ballad, while the upbeat following singles of ‘Love Me In A Circle’ and ‘She’s Got That’ captured the varying emotions and experiences that the feeling of love can provoke – a sentiment which runs throughout the album, something so powerful it’s embedded in the title of the record itself.

“It was Bethany who first suggested that we should call the album Love Me,” says Manny.I was like, 'That's so cool, because "love me" can be taken in so many different ways.' Like, are you saying you should love me? Or is it more of a question – like, 'do you love me?'”

We Three have built a passionate global fanbase with their anthemic, emotive and life-affirming songs: they have over a million TikTok followers and their music has received more than 290 million streams, which has all translated into a fervent live following around the world.

At the start of the year, We Three completed a tour to capacity crowds across New Zealand and Australia, while they returned to the road for a sold out run across Europe earlier this month. The band kicked off their UK leg earlier this week, playing across the North of England and Scotland. Their UK visit launched with a major national live TV performance on Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch, marking the second time the band have been selected to perform on the program.

The live shows continue tomorrow (28th) at the O2 Institute in Birmingham, followed by Brighton Concorde 2 (29th), London’s KOKO (30th) and The Academy in Dublin (1st). Remaining tickets for the shows can be found here - https://www.wethreemusic.com/tour
